Guide to a Kitchen Remodel

They say the kitchen is the heart of the home.  It’s where families and friends gather, Sunday dinners are had, cookies are baked for holidays, and above all, a place to make memories.  Whether your kitchen needs a full face-lift, or your just needing to make more modern upgrades; remodeling can be a great way to enhance and showcase your style and improve the functionality of the space.

So, where do you even begin?  A remodel can seem like a daunting task with lots of unknowns.  With a thought-out plan and breaking the process down step-by-step; it can be very rewarding and even enjoyable.  The team at Brooks Home Renovations is made up of knowledgeable, talented and personable designers, builders and Project Managers that are ready to guide you through, from start to finish.

Kitchen Remodel Planning & Design

Once you’ve done your research, had estimates done at the prospective jobsite and selected Brooks Home Renovations as your contractor; you can begin the Design Phase.  We will provide transparency and open communication from the start.

The Design Phase Broken Down in Steps:

  • Discuss the extent of the project
  • Determine budget and design goals
  • Choose a layout, colors and style for your kitchen
  • Select materials such as flooring, cabinets, counters and appliances
  • Create a finished plan that includes all design requirements
  • A final contract is drafted with pricing and a tentative schedule
  • Once contract is signed, the Project Managers and Design team begin ordering materials and coordinating with subcontractors and plan a timeline for your remodel

We ensure a quality product, transparent and open communication, and access to BuilderTrend which allows you to have a daily snapshot of where your project is at, who was at the jobsite and the ability to e-mail project managers with questions. In the end, you will have a beautiful, functional and custom kitchen to enjoy for years to come.
